Next ...

Squeezing in the work today. Early afternoon, still relatively cool, but smuggy. Coming into the home stretch with the swim team. Champs only two days away. Super exciting. I am excited but with so much going on I will take the afternoon to re-focus on next weeks training schedule etc.

Workout of the Day
A.
Three sets, not for time, of:
Kettlebell Snatch x 8-10 reps
Skin the Cat x 4-6 reps
Strict Toes to Bar x 8-10 reps @ 3010
(try to control the descent – 3 seconds – from top to full hang)
These sets felt good ;). Strict T2B with the control took a little practice.

B.
Five sets of:
Power/Push Jerk x 2-3 reps
(try to work between 65-85% of your 1-RM . . . 75/75/80/80/85)
Rest 2 minutes between sets.
Probably could have started out higher than 65% on these. Tired today, but once I loosened up it was better.

C.
Four sets for max reps of:
Against a 3-minute running clock, complete:
AirDyne 1/4 mile
Handstand hold (shoulder taps)
Rest 3 minutes
Ride ran 30-35 seconds, I am glad I chose this ... still need those quarter mile work sets to build. Holds w/taps necessary also. Upper body tireness this week w/HSPU, even scaled, on Sunday.
