... and during the summer season, I can really appreciate the value of the day. A helicopter might be nice ;), but a little out of my price range right now. Giving up the joy of living in the foothills is not an option either. Stars, trees, rivers, clear skies ... peace in nature. All things worth it.

Now, getting in a late afternoon session to do one of my favorite things ... CrossFit during swim season, much harder. So, doing it with others is a treat. Today I had the opportunity to meet some new people now enjoying the CF method of training. Parnter WOD!

In teams of 2 sharing a barbell (45#), complete the following:
200 meter guide-on carry
200 meter barbell lunge
400 meter single arm farmers carry
400 meter front rack carry
400 meter overhead carry
Notes: Only one team member can carry the bar at a time and the bar may never touch the ground. 3 burpee penalty, yay!
